Just a suitable option for a break on a long journey in Arequipa with good value for money. Hot water was consistent for showers, always a plus.

Warm, comfortable rooms with excellent bedding. Lovely terrace and gardens. High ceiling room a nice change from the claustrophobic feel of other similar hotels. Excellent position to central plaza.

Lovely hotel situated in a great location not far from the main square. The room we got was big and the bathroom was great with a jet spray bath tub! Breakfast was simple with fruit and fresh bread but very tasty, Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Couple getaway with charm
The breakfast was something else, a buffet of fresh fruits, eggs, and homemade waffles, made mornings just a bit more bearable. The little cat that roams around, named Benito, added a personal touch to the place, always ready to greet you when you ventured out back.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but still okay for what you get.

A wonderful family run historic hotel in a quiet central location next to the convent and all a short walk awayo from the leading shops, restaurants and Plaza de Armas. The hotel staff are warm, friendly, helpful and provide the best service. Rooms are light, bright, airy/spacious and some have fabulous views of the surrounding mountains. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is well above average with a very good selection of fruits, cereals and hot food. My wife is pregnant and we were very comfortable and relaxed here after a terrible night in a hostal in the Majes valley! The perfect combination of a character property with modern comforts at a reasonable price.

Our triple room turned out to be a 2 bedroom suite, one with twin beds, so there was lots of space. The hotel is a very interesting design, with lots of common space with sofas and chairs. There are several gardens and courtyards with beautiful flowers, so it is very relaxing from the minute you walk through the front door. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The kids loved the relaxing massage and the staff. It was just a short walk to the historic district, perfect for family sightseeing.
My kids wished there were more facilities for families, like additional entertainment options at night.

Located fairly cenyrally, wifi did work, interesting architecture
The insulation is pretty poor, single glasing absolutely no heating installation in room. In february at night is only 8-9 degrees Celcius. Had to leave after 2 hours - could not envisage sleeping in these conditions- plenty of other hotels. Agree that in sommer months could be quite pleasant

Loved warm and perfect breakfasts, and clean hotel.
Tbh, had a quite comfortable stay for great value. Everything was excellent, incredible location very close to cool new restaurants and bars, historical center, bars and restaurants and very nice different terraces to sit outside in the sun, welcoming staff. The breakfast had a huge variety of superb food and drinks.

The location's proximity to the historic district allowed for easy access to local sights. The building boasts charming antique interiors that carry a unique character, though they could benefit from a little upkeep.
Room conditions left much to be desired. The window frames lacked proper fittings, letting in noise from the bustling city, difficult to find peace at night. Showers fluctuated between lukewarm and icy, with awkwardly designed stalls that ensured a wet toilet floor. To top it off, the advertised Roman bath facilities were inexplicably out of service .
